3. Mary Ruth Coal Co. used an end-loader to load the hoppers from the stock pile. WVN 4.
4. Ten loads were pulled into Snyder siding. The engines have run around the train and are almost ready to head back up the hill. WVN 4.

11. Heading back to Kingwood, we pass the water train at Howesville. WVN 4.

It has been 33 years and hard to remember many of the details. The West Virginia Northern tried to be a scenic railroad, but that didn’t work out. It is abandoned now.
